most women
have cellulite.
Do not for one second think that cellulite is your fault. It's not because you opted for a couch day instead of a gym day last weekend. And it's not because you just refuse to give up cream in your coffee. How do you get cellulite? It's primarily because of the fibrous bands under your skin that thicken over time.
cellulite starts
with puberty.
It all starts with that first lovely surge of estrogen. Remember how great starting puberty was? From that point on, Mother Nature proceeds to take over. And she really packs a punch: as we age, fibrous bands under the skin get thicker, our skin gets thinner and looser, and our fat cells start to get larger. And all of these things contribute to cellulite. Period. (Pun intended.)
cellulite doesn't
discriminate.
Over time, cellulite will most likely find you. After all, it finds 9 out of 10 women. It doesn't care what age, size or race you are. We're all in this together. Unfortunately, "this" is cellulite.
but it does
against men.
While almost all women have cellulite, men rarely do. One reason is the space between the outer layer of skin (the epidermis) and the inner layer of skin (the dermis) is smoother in men. Another is fat. Women tend to have more of it. (Thanks, estrogen.)
